Amped Up Adventure Race - May 27th
Paddle and Trail presents a brand new series of adventure races that are sure to draw people from far and wide to challenge, test and push their overall adventure racing skills and fortitude. These hybrid-style adventure races will combine a sprint paddle, running, biking and urban obstacle course components.
The race series will be held in Aurora, IL, Rockford, IL and Beloit, WI Each 6 hour adventure race is specially designed to incorporate the local natural assets (local water and land trails, and parks) with the races culminating with the obstacle component of the race in the downtown of the respective race communities.
The Amped Up Adventure Race series are truly races with a cause. Each community the race is held in will select an outdoor initiative that will benefit from the proceeds of the race. Amped Up Adventure Races are a true community effort, with each city embracing the race and putting their own unique stamp on it. The whole race experience will be designed around utilizing and showcasing the unique assets of each community.
Take the Amped Up Series Dominator Challenge! Adventure Race athletes who take on the challenge of competing in all three of the Amped Up Series Adventure Races – Aurora, Rockford and Beloit, will be eligible for the Amped Up Series Dominator Challenge award prizes.

Heat: 1 9:00 a.m. “Elite” heat
Team Event is the last heat
